Theodora Vaporis focuses her practice representing individuals in their estate planning. As a natural extension, Theodora assists families in the administration of their loved one’s estates after they have passed away. Theodora has developed a reputation as being a fierce advocate for the elderly and other persons who are vulnerable to undue influence. As such, while the goal in planning is always to avoid disputes, estate disputes do happen and Theodora assists clients in investigating those disputes whether they occurred by fraudulent conveyance, misuse of a Power of Attorney or a Last Will and Testament that was procured by fraud or duress. Finally, Theodora represents client in establishing Guardianships for the elderly and disabled as well as assisting the guardians appointed by the Court in maintaining proper accountings of those Guardianship Estates. Theodora regularly speaks to financial planning groups, churches and other organizations whose members want to learn more about these subject areas.
Theodora was recently honored by the Greensboro News and Record readers as the Best Estate Planning Attorney in Guilford’s Best. She holds a AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale Hubbell which recognizes lawyers for their strong legal ability and high ethical standards.
Theodora maintains an active California law license and represents both clients in California and clients in North Carolina that own property in, or have other ties to, California.
