Biography:
David Wilson is a partner with Law Firm Carolinas and is licensed in both North and South Carolina. His practice involves advising condominium and homeowners associations and representing his association clients’ interests in court. David heads up the firm’s South Carolina community association and collections departments and is admitted to practice in all North Carolina state courts and all South Carolina state and federal courts. David frequently offers board training sessions, runs community and board meetings, and advises on community documents and practices.
David is also a member of the South Carolina Bar’s Community Association Law Committee and is active in the Community Association Institute (CAI) chapters for both North Carolina and South Carolina. David is a current member and past Chair of the SC CAI Legislative Action Committee (SC-LAC) and also serves on the national amicus curiae panel. He is also a regular presenter and speaker on community association topics, including the NC CAI chapter’s Law Day and Annual Conference and the SC CAI chapter’s Expo / Law Day, as well as other national, regional, and local events. David has also been admitted as a Fellow in CAI’s College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL), which recognizes excellence in the practice of community association law, and commitment to education and leadership within the industry.
