Biography:
Andrew is an avid writer both professionally and recreationally. He was an active staff member of the Elon Law Review and published an article on the evolution of U.S. Asylum law in the 2015 issue of the Review. He continues to regularly publish articles in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate. In his free time, Andrew enjoys writing songs, playing music, and spending time with his friends and family. He is also an avid N.C. State Wolfpack fan. Andrew lives in Greensboro with his wife, daughter, and four cats: Tuck, Hank, Larry, and Gunny.

Experience:
With his business degree and M.B.A., Andrew held positions as both a sales and operations manager with a large national retailer. As an attorney, Andrew worked at a general practice law office for two years where he handled a variety of cases including criminal and traffic matters, family law, real estate, business law, personal injury, estate planning and estate administration, general litigation, civil disputes, and special proceedings such as partition actions, foreclosure defense, name changes, and adoptions. Andrew went on to work with a boutique elder law firm for four years which focused on sophisticated long-term care and Medicaid planning, tax issues, asset protection, estate planning, estate and trust administration, fiduciary law and real estate. Andrew joined Law Firm Carolinas in 2020 and currently manages the firm’s Estate Planning and Probate department while also assisting with residential real estate closings. Andrew has over a decade of experience practicing law and is a Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law.
