Biography:
Charles Meier has been practicing law for over 40 years and focuses his practice on the representation of community associations, as well as other real estate related matters. He has represented clients before the North Carolina District and Superior Courts, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. He is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubble, the highest possible rating for both legal ability and ethical standards. His representation of community associations extends to formation, operation, general counsel, litigation, collections and termination. He represents more than 400 community associations, from two-unit condominiums to 1000+ lot planned communities. He is a frequent speaker at the CAI-NC Law Day and annual conferences. He regularly attends the national CAI Law Seminars.
