Biography:
Frederick “Fred” Hulse is an associate with Law Firm Carolinas in the firm’s Community Association Law practice. Born in High Wycombe, United Kingdom, to English parents who moved to the United States shortly after his birth, Fred was raised in Syracuse, New York, and Brown Summit, North Carolina. He also spent a year during high school attending an international school in Arnhem, the Netherlands. His background and experience adapting to new environments have shaped his ability to approach new challenges with flexibility and perspective. Fred graduated from Northern Guilford High School before earning his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University. He later earned his J.D. from Elon University School of Law in Greensboro, North Carolina, graduating in December 2025 through the school’s accelerated program. After sitting for the February North Carolina UBE bar exam, he joined Law Firm Carolinas as an associate in March 2026. Outside the office, Fred enjoys attending Why Not Run Club, spending time with his family, kayaking on Lake Townsend, and taking his family’s Irish Wolfhound on long hikes.

Experience:
- Before joining Law Firm Carolinas, Fred gained experience in employment and labor law, civil litigation, and real estate law through his work with the Law Offices of L. Nicole Patino, The Justice Law Group, P.A., and Maynard Nexsen. His work included legal research, memorandum drafting, discovery, motion support, title review, closing preparation, document drafting, client communication, and litigation support in both state and federal matters.
